Randolph United Council is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022 to serve the unincorporated community of Randolph in Pinal County. Our vision is to create a thriving community where residents work together to revitalize homes, support economic development, and build a safe, sustainable future.
Residents of Randolph and individuals with ancestral ties to Randolph will be given preference during the application review process.
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the systems, organization, and communication that help move this work forward.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and organizational support to Randolph United Council. This role helps keep day-to-day operations running smoothly by managing records, supporting communication, assisting with community programs, and helping put systems and processes in place. The position supports both staff and community-facing activities and serves as a key point of contact for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
Provide general administrative support to Council leadership and staff
Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately
Maintain organized digital and physical files, records, and documentation
Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and community events
Prepare agendas, sign-in sheets, and meeting notes when needed
Community & Program Support
Assist with community communications, including flyers, notices, and announcements
Support tracking of community programs, job placements, and participant records
Help coordinate logistics for community meetings, cleanups, and events
Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents and partners
Data, Reporting & Systems
Enter and update data accurately in spreadsheets or databases
Assist with grant, program, or internal reporting as directed
Help develop and maintain basic administrative systems and workflows
Track supplies, forms, and administrative needs
Professional Representation
Represent Randolph United Council in a positive, respectful, and professional manner
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Support the organization’s mission, values, and community-centered approach
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in administrative support, office assistance, or clerical work preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills (email and microsoft suite products)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to community service and local engagement
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with nonprofit or community-based organizations
Experience supporting programs, grants, or community initiatives
Comfortable working with diverse populations
Bilingual skills a plus (but not required)
Work Environment
Combination of office-based and community-based work
Interaction with residents, staff, partners, and volunteers
May require occasional evening or weekend work for community meetings or events
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time, based on organizational needs
Flexible scheduling may be available
Compensation determined by Randolph United Council’s wage structure
